밸브내 유체의 흐름을 한쪽 방향으로만 가능하고 유체의 역류를 방지하는 기능을 하며 밸브 몸체가 밸브시트에 수직상하운동으로 개폐되는 리프트형으로 되어 있으며 최고 사용압력은 30㎏/㎠이다.
